%W `r r 4 ORDINANCE NO. 70 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 6th DAY OF JUNE, 1961 PERTAINING TO THE ANNEXATION OF SAN ANTONIO HILLS NO. 2 TO THE TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 199, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills declared its intention to hold a special election to be held in certain inhabited territory contiguous to said city proposed to be annexed to the city, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not the territory should be annexed to the city; and law; and WHEREAS, copies of said resolution were posted as required by WHEREAS, at a time not later than the hour set by said resolution for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, protests were not made by the owners or by public and private owners equal to one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, all proceedings have been had in accordance with said resolution and the Annexation Act of 1913, reference thereto hereby being made for full particulars; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. A special election is hereby called to be held on the 6th day of June, 1961, in the territory described and proposed to be annexed to the Town of Los Altos Hills, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in, and made a part of said Town of Los Altos Hills. A true description of said territory is annexed hereto, labeled Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein. 2. The polls at said election shall be opened at 7:00 o'clock A.M. of the day herein fixed for the holding of said election and shall be kept open until 7:00 o'clock P.M. of the same day when the polls shall be closed.
