ORDINANCE NO. 72 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS FIXING THE RATES OF CHARGES TO BE MADE IN CONNECTION WITH SOBDIVISION OF LAND, DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF AN EMERGENCY, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following fees shall be charged in connection with subdivision of land within the Town of Los Altos Hills: For the filing of a tentative subdivision map: $40.00 for the first lot as shown on each map, and $15.00 for each additional lot; For the filing of the final map: $25.00 for first lot shown on each map; and $10.00 for each additional lot; For engineering fees covering map checking and inspections: 4% of the total cost of improvements as said cost is estimated by the Town Engineer. SECTION 2. In any case in which the Town Engineer certifies that additional inspections or tests, beyond those normally required, are necessary, the actual additional cost of such tests or inspections shall be charged by the Town Engineer to the Town, and said charges shall be paid in advance by the subdivider to the Town in addition to any and all charges hereinabove listed. SECTION 3. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby declare that the preservation of the health, welfare and safety of the residents of the Town of Los Altos Hills drequire the performance of map checking, inspections and tests in connection with the subdivision of land within said Town, and that the existence of these requirements does constitute an emergency, and that the fulfillment of these requirements can be assured only by provision of an adequate method for payment of charges to be made in connection therewith, and that the charges and rates fixed herein are necessary and proper and are needed to deal with said emergency. —0 9 FA I9 RNT WXn[v uoiv 6CB308
