ORDINANCE NO. - Z AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "BLANCO RANCHO NO. 1" TO THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF IAS ALMS HILLS HOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 4th day of December, 1961, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills did pass and adopt Resolution No. 173 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the Town of Los Altos Hills, said territory being therein designated as "Blanco Rancho No. 1", said resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 173 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the City Council would hear protests made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty (40) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of passage of said resolution; and WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of January, 1962, at the hour of 7:45 o'clock P.M. in the Town Hall of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place to which the hearing provided for in said Resolution No. 173 for hearing protests to the said annexation was continued, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Town of Los Altos Hills and is uninhabited territory in the County of Santa Clara; NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the Town of Los Altos Hills, and does further ordain that the said territory be and it is hereby annexed to the Town of Los Altos Hills.
