U. at the Town Hall , 26379 Fremont Road , Los Altos Hills , California. <br /> ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen liken, Fowle , Henley, Deputy Mayor Sherlock <br /> ' BSENT : Mayor Clayton <br /> MINUTES : October 15, 1962. <br /> .CTION: <br /> Adopt Minutes of October 15, 1962 as submitted. <br /> COMMUNIC IOUS : <br /> 1. Santa Clara County Boundary Commission - Notice of trorosed annexations <br /> to the City of Mountain View, designated as Grant-St . Joseph No. 8 and <br /> Rock No . 3 ; to the City of Cupertino, designated as Pasadena 62-4 and <br /> one untitled annexation. <br /> ANNOUNCEIENTS : None . <br /> COMMITTEE ='TORTS : <br /> 1. Traffic Control - Sheriff ' s Department . <br /> Lt .Elton Heck and Sgt . Curtis , of the Santa Clara County Sheriff ' s Dept . , <br /> discussed traffic problems in the Town and answered questions asked by <br /> Council and citizens present . <br /> The Council was invited , by Lt . Heck , to visit the Sheriff ' s Office to <br /> see how records are maintained . <br /> 2. Subdivision Bonds - City Manager. <br /> Rerort ..was given by the City Manager relative to problems experienced <br /> by other cities regarding subdivision bonds in default . <br /> The Council agreed that the Town should proceed to take action against <br /> bonding companies where subdividers have defaulted in completion of im- <br /> provements . <br /> OLD BUSSNESS : <br /> 1 . Street Names - Yuba and Elizabeth. <br /> The City Manager commented on the letter from Mrs . Rose Elizabeth Taaffe <br /> Lovece relative to historical background concerning street names in the <br /> Town. <br /> LUpon the suggestion from the Planning Commission, the present names will <br /> not be changed unless there are requests from property owners . <br />
