A • . • • RESOLUTION NO. 613 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS REQUESTING THE HOLDING OF A PUBLIC HEARING, BY THE FEDERAL AVIATION AGENCY, PRIOR TO ANY CHANGE IN REGULATION. OF ROUTES FOR COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT FLIGHTS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills , California, that WHEREAS, there is currently pending before the Federal Aviation Agency a proposal (hereinafter referred to as "said proposal") to change the San Francisco Bay Area flight patterns so as to route additional commercial aircraft flights over the Town of Los Altos Hills , and WHEREAS, said proposal vitally affects the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Town of Los Altos Hills , and WHEREAS, no such proposal affecting substantial rights of the citizens should be considered without affording the citizens notice thereof and an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that said Council does hereby request that the Federal Aviation Agency schedule a public hearing on said proposal, said hearing to be held at a time and place convenient to the citizens of the Town of Los Altos Hills , at whichhearing the citizens may fully express their views , and that due and adequate notice of such hearing be given to the citizens ; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council requests that the Federal Aviation Agency suspend all action on said proposal until completion of the public hearing hereby requested; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to forward one copy of this Resolution, duly certified, to the Federal Aviation Agency, to the Chairman of each of the Boards of Supervisors of the Counties of Santa Clara,San Mateo ROBIN D.
