M. at the Town <br /> Hall, 26379 W. Fremont Avenue, Los Altos Rills. <br /> ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen Aiken, Clayton, Henley, Sherlock, <br /> Mayor Fowls <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> MINUTES: September 19. 1960. <br /> ACTION: <br /> Adopt Minutes of September 19, 1960 as submitted. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> 1. Cpu$ty Boyad¢ry Coqmiesiop - Notice of proposed annexation design- <br /> ated as Grant-St. Joseph No. 6 to the City of Los Altos. <br /> Filed. <br /> 2. Furissima School Taths - Letter of thanks for the installation of <br /> paths for the Pur ssiima School. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. <br /> COMMITTEE RETORTS: None. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. California Water Service Company - Request for Franchise. <br /> Upon the recommendation of the City Attorney, the Council denied <br /> the application for a franchise to the California Jater Service <br /> Company. <br /> The City Attorney was asked to draft an amendment to Ordinance <br /> No. 52, relative to the requirement of posting of bonds by a <br /> Class L utility. <br /> 2. Stop Sign - Chapin and Burke Avenues. <br /> Report of survey, made by the Sheriff's Department, was presented <br /> by the City Clerk, said reporlrecommending some changes to allevi- <br /> ate the flow of traffic at the intersection of Chapin & Burke <br /> Avenues, but did not recommend installation of a "Stop" sign. <br /> Ilir ACTION: <br /> That no action be taken relative to installation of a "Stop" <br /> sign at the insection of Chapin and Burke Avenues. <br /> MOTION: Henley; SECOND: Clayton; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br />
