ACTION: That the minutes of March 3rd, 1958 be adopted as corrected. REPORTS: 1. �City Engineer McCandieas --Joint .Engineer's Meeting re: Road mi—provemen . City Engineer Charles Be McCandless reported that a meeting was held March 102 with Colin Peters, Attorney, John Riley, Engineer representing Fremont Hills, Eugene Mastin, Engineer representing Mr. Cusack. Mr. McCandless stated that Mr. Mastin was in agreement to building whatever drainage facilities necessary to carry excessive run-off from the property to the nearest water course. The same reaction was gained from the Fremont Hills Engineer, who was present, and agreed that'Fremont Hills is willing to construct in -tract and off -tract drainage facilities to carry run-off from their property. It was reported that Fremont Hills is agreeable to paving 34 a road contiguous to or perimeter roads surrounding their subdivisions to the standards set by the Town. They will not object to paving the full width of a road, for a lesser distance, where it is necessary. Mr. McCandless stated that it seems to be the wish of the subdivider that if money is deposited to be used on roads contiguous to their subdivision --it is not to be used elsewhere. Mr. Riley was asked if Fremont Hills will improve Concepcion Avenue. The question was answered that: theyw 11 improve )z of all rodds contiguous to their subdivision. ACTION: That the City Council accept the report of the City Engineer and that it be deferred for further study -by the Council. 3.12-58
