CITY COUNCIL TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING February 4, 1957 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Sidney W. Treat at 7:45 P.M. on February 4, 1957, at the Purissima School. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen Raymond 0. Hoefler, Leighton M. Bledsoe, J.M. Fowle, C. Easton Rothwell, Mayor Sidney W. Treat, MINUTES: ABSENT: None, Approved as posted and as sent to the City Council. COMMUNICATIONS: 1) A letter was read from the Fire District referring to Mr. Collin's property on Lupin Road. It was brought to the attention of the City Council that Mr. Collins is building in violation of the ordinance and does not have a building permit. The Fire District informed the Council it would not object to building on Lupin Road if same were improved. The matter was referred to the Planning Commission. 2) A letter was read from Donald K. Currlin, Santa Clara County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, dated January 24, 1957, requesting Council members to attend a meeting to be held February 8, 1957, 10 A.M., First and Rosa Streets, San Jose. This meeting is to discuss coordination between local cities on problems dealing with flood control and water matters. 3) A letter was read from the Bay Air Pollution Control District. There will be a hearing at 9:30 A.M., February 6, 1957, at the Health Department at First and Rosa Streets, San Jose. 4) David Bates, 758 Everett St., Palo Alta addressed a letter to the City Council stating his dissatisfaction with the Town of Los Altos Hills. There is a storm drain pipe under Magdalena Ave. which empties onto his property and desires to rectify this problem. The matter was referred to the City Attorney. 5) A letter was read from Irma C. Goldsmith stating two complaints. First that automobiles do not ive right-of-way to pedestrians and animals (horses, and secondly the nuisance of roaming dogs unaccompanied.
