o <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS there are no hospital facilities in the <br /> area for the more than 100,000 persons living within the Los <br /> Altos , Los Altos Hills, Mountain View and Sunnyvale area; and <br /> WHEREAS the citizens of this area voted on October <br /> 30, 1956, by an overwhelming 14 to 1 majority to form the El <br /> Camino Hospital District; and <br /> WHEREAS our need for hospital facilities will become <br /> even more critical as our population continues to increase; and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of Directors of the El Camino <br /> Hospital District has called for voter approval of a $7,300,000 <br /> General Obligation bond issue to finance construction of the <br /> El Camino District Hospital; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of <br /> the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby endorse the El Camino <br /> Hospital Bond proposal. <br /> This Resolution adopted at a regular meeting of <br /> the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on the 27th <br /> day of May , 1957, by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Acting-Mayor Rothwell, Councilmen Hoefler, <br /> Fowles Bledsoe. <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Sidney W. Treat <br /> <br /> Now <br /> PAUL W. SALFEN, Deputy City Clerk <br /> C. E. ROTHWELL, Acting-Mayor <br />
