David Stuthers, Los Altos Hills, President of the Friends of the Library of Los <br /> Altos, said he continues to support the transfer to LALE because the funds will <br /> grow faster. <br /> MOTION MADE AND SECONDED:.Councilmember Corrigan moved to state <br /> that the Los Altos Hills City Council suggest that the Whipple Library funds, <br /> currently held at the JPA,be transferred to the Los Altos Library <br /> Endowment(LALE)in their care until such time that they are needed by the City, <br /> Library and Los Altos; the funds may be restricted per negotiations with the City of <br /> Los Altos and LALE; if the City of Los Altos does not find this agreeable, it is <br /> further recommended that the funds stay within the control of the current JPA <br /> accounts.
