REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES, SUB-COMMITTEES, AND <br /> COUNCILMEMBERS ON OUTSIDE AGENCIES <br /> A. Request by the History Committee to Obtain Sponsorships for Projects and Events <br /> John Swan, Los Altos Hills History Committee Chair, requested the Council <br /> allow sponsorships for committee events and projects. <br /> - Council discussion ensued. No action was taken. <br /> B. Request by the Pathways Committee to Allow Committee Members to Contact <br /> Homeowners on Summerhill Avenue and on Page Mill Road/Moon Lane to <br /> Discuss Upcoming Capital Improvement Projects <br /> Ann Duwe, Pathways Committee Chair, requested the Council allow the <br /> committee members to contact residents on Summerhill Lane to discuss the <br /> proposed pathway. She specifically said they would knock on each door to advise <br /> the residents about the proposed pathway on Summerhill and to receive resident <br /> feedback. <br /> Council discussion ensued. <br /> DIRECTION: For just Summerhill Avenue, the Pathways Committee is allowed to <br /> contact residents, hold a group meeting and as necessary, follow up with <br /> supplemental meetings to help clarify specific issues. City Manager Cahill shall <br /> work with the assigned pathway members Bob Elson and Sue Welch to plan the <br /> communication with the affected neighbors. <br /> C.
