(d) Roofs which are not fire-retardant contribute to <br /> the spread of fires, and therefore pose a risk to <br /> the safety of the Town's citizens and their property; <br /> Section 3. Term. This ordinance shall remain in <br /> effect for forty-five (45) days and after that date shall be of <br /> no force and effect. <br /> Section 4 Finding; Effective Date. The Council finds <br /> that there is a current and immediate threat to the public health <br /> and safety of the Town, if building permits are issued which <br /> allow non-fire retardant roofing on structures.
