They voiced an interest in investigating the <br /> option of annexing Hidden Villa and directed staff to explore the feasibility. <br /> Annexation would ensure control over any future development of the . <br /> property. <br /> • Council Standing Committees — it was suggested by the Public that Council <br /> consider scheduling annual meetings with their Standing Committees. This <br /> would afford the Council an opportunity to review the committees' activities <br /> and provide direction. <br /> • Council discussed the reinstatement of neighborhood safety committees. <br /> Staff noted that this issue was being addressed by the Emergency <br /> Preparedness Committee. <br /> Council reviewed the topics that had been discussed during the session and prioritized <br /> their goals for the upcoming year.
