RESOLUTION 55-18 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION <br /> OF THE 2018 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Director/City Engineer of the Town of Los Altos Hills did, in <br /> open session, duly examine and consider all bids submitted to it for the construction of the 2018 <br /> Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project. <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Director/City Engineer recommends that the contract for said <br /> project be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, O'Grady Paving Inc., for the amount of <br /> $1,362,873.15; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> that; <br /> I. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract to the above- <br /> named firm on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills. <br /> 2. The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to approve potential contract change <br /> orders in an amount not to exceed$90,000. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute necessary contracts with <br /> consulting/inspection firms for inspection and testing services in an amount not to exceed <br /> $50,000. <br /> The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 19th day of July, 2018 by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Radford, Spreen, Corrigan, Waldeck,Wu <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> By: <br /> /."ohn Radford, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Deborah L.
