Annual Report of the Los Altos Hills Pathways Committee <br /> <br />Rachelle Mirkin, Chair of the Los Altos Hills Pathways Committee presented <br />the annual report of the committee. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued. No action was taken. <br /> <br />F. Annual Report of the Los Altos Hills Emergency Communications Committee <br /> <br />Dru Anderson and Scott Overstreet, Co-Chairs of the Los Altos Hills <br />Emergency Communications Committee presented the annual report of the <br />committee. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued. No action was taken. <br /> <br />3. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR Persons wishing to address the Council <br />on any subject not on the agenda may do so now. Please complete a Speaker Card <br />located on the back table of the Council Chambers and submit it to the City Clerk. <br />Comments are limited to two (2) minutes per speaker. California law prohibits the <br />Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. Under a Resolution <br />previously adopted by the Council, such items can be referred to staff for <br />appropriate action, which may include placement on the next available agenda. <br /> <br />Pat Lang, Los Altos Hills, encouraged individuals to attend a candlelight vigil in Mt. <br />View for the detained children. <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Resolution Adopting the Proposed FY 2018-19 Operating and Capital Budget and <br />Gann Limit for the Town of Los Altos Hills (Staff: Finance) <br /> <br />Jim Steele, Financial Consultant, presented the FY 2018-19 Budget. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Radford opened up the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Seeing no one wishing to speak, Mayor Radford closed the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Spreen, <br />seconded by Councilmember Waldeck and passed unanimously to adopt Resolution <br />46-18 approving the 2018-19 Operating and Capital Budgets and the Gann <br />Appropriations Limit. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Waldeck.
