Warshawsky explained that <br /> central to the success of the pilot project is developing an educational program that will <br /> clearly define the benefits of undergrounding utilities. <br /> 5.1.3 Master Pathway Map—Status Report <br /> Dot Schreiner, Saddle Mountain Drive, reported that the map documentation group and <br /> the Pathways Committee are working separately and simultaneously to complete the <br /> update and ensure that the map is accurate. The next Pathways Committee meeting is <br /> scheduled for June 14, 2004. <br /> Councilmember Warshawsky. Pathways Committee Council liaison, added that Chris <br /> Vargas, Pathways Committee Chair, will be making a formal presentation to the Council <br /> at their next meeting discussing the proposed hearing and review process for the Pathway <br /> Map. <br /> 5.1.4 Storm Water Master Plan—Status Report <br /> City Manager Cassingham provided Council with an update on the Storm Water Master <br /> Plan. Two additional locations, Natoma Road and Page Mill Road, have been added to <br /> the original list of twenty-five areas identified as problematic. These two new areas are <br /> prone to slides and earthquake destruction. They are being monitored and maintained to <br /> the best of the Town's ability. Cassingham added that no funds have been allocated in <br /> the budget if a natural disaster should strike these two sites. <br /> • Cassingham noted that it had been determined that it would be beneficial for the Master <br /> Plan study being prepared by Nolte Associates to include information describing storm <br /> water and drainage flows in the community. This information will assist in identifying <br /> the location of the pipes, water drainage and how the waters flow to the creeks in Town. <br /> Cassingham reported that in addition to the Storm Water Master Plan, staff is presently <br /> working on a draft storm water detention ordinance that will be presented to Council at a <br /> future date and will assist the Town in complying with regional requirements. <br /> 5.1.5 Visit to China to Explore Business Opportunities—Completed <br /> 6. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES, SUB-COMMITTEES, AND <br /> COUNCILMEMBERS ON OUTSIDE AGENCIES <br /> Councilmember Fenwick reported that he had attended the Emergency Communications <br /> Committee meeting. Thirteen members were in attendance.
