Notification of <br /> Planning Commission Approval: Lands of Roelandts• 26401 Eshner <br /> Court (File# 191-10-ZP-SD) A Request for a Site Development Permit for <br /> • landscape screening for a 5,005 square foot two story new residence, 2,845 square <br /> foot basement, 730 square foot detached garage (approved September 4, 2008) <br /> CEQA Review: Categorical Exemption per Section 15304(b) <br /> • Planning Commission Vote 4-0-1 (Unanimous/Clow absent) <br /> • Appeal Deadline: December 27, 2010 <br /> Items Removed: <br /> 6. Approval of Encroachment Permit for Magdalena Sewer Mainline Extension Project <br /> Proposed for a Sewer Reimbursement Agreement <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Richard Chiu explained that staff was requesting <br /> that the item be deferred at this time. He noted that it would return for Council <br /> consideration at a future date. <br /> 9. Notification of Planning Commission Approval: Lands of Pearson; 26301 Silent <br /> Hills Lane (File #60-10-ZP-SD-GD) A Request for a Site Development Permit for a <br /> 8,086 square foot two-story new residence (maximum height: 31'), 1321 detached <br /> garage and a 1,929 square foot swimming pool. Grading Policy Exception for cut <br /> of 14' and fill of 5'. CEQA Review: Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) <br /> &(e) <br /> • Planning Commission Vote 4-0-1 (Unanimous/Clow absent) <br /> • • Appeal Deadline: December 27, 2010 <br /> Councilmember Summit offered that she had requested separate discussion of the item to <br /> alert the Council to the grading policy exception that had been approved for the <br /> application. Summit expressed her concern that exceptions to the policy were being <br /> requested by more applicants. <br /> Following a brief discussion, Council concurred that further discussion of the Town's <br /> grading and basement policy would be appropriate at a future meeting. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Larsen, seconded by Warshawsky <br /> and passed unanimously to accept the Planning Commission's decision/approval for <br /> Lands of Pearson. <br /> SPECIAL ITEMS <br /> 11. Recognition of Mayor Breene Kerr and Councilmember Dean Warshawsky <br /> Council thanked Mayor Kerr and Councilmember Warshawsky for their contributions to <br /> the Town during their two term service on the City Council. Mayor Pro Tem Larsen <br /> highlighted several of the numerous accomplishments that had been achieved during their <br /> tenures.
