Update on Town Goals <br /> • Emergency Preparedness <br /> Mayor Mordo announced that Public Safety Officer Steve Garcia was preparing a scripted <br /> emergency exercise scheduled for April 26h. The drill would be a simulation of a major <br /> earthquake. <br /> Councilmember Larsen reported that he had attended the Santa Clara County Emergency <br /> Preparedness Council meeting. Discussions had focused on airport disaster readiness. <br /> • Environmental Initiatives <br /> Discussed as Agenda Item#15.No additional report. <br /> • • Parks and Recreation Assets and Programs <br /> No report. <br /> • Sewers and Infrastructure <br /> Discussed as Agenda Item#12. No additional report. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 10. Consideration of a Resolution of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> Authorizing Issuance of Limited Obligation Improvement Bonds and Directing <br /> Related Actions (W. Loyola Sewer Assessment District No.1)— <br /> (Staff. R. Chiu) <br /> Councilmember Rich Larsen recused himself from consideration of this item and stepped <br /> down from the dais. <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Richard Chiu introduced the item to Council. The <br /> resolution before Council would approve the documents that provided for the issuance of <br /> improvement bonds to finance the project. The financing documents had been prepared <br /> by the Bond Counsel and were included in the staff report before Council. Chiu noted <br /> that the documents had been reviewed by staff and the City Attorney and found to be in <br /> • proper order.
