. •i i <br /> needs of the neighborhood and citizens at large in a safe and convenient manner and <br /> provide scenic and recreational benefits to the community without needless public <br /> intrusion into the backyard privacy of residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, the initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration prepared for the <br /> -proposed General Plan Amendment and vacation of pathway and trail easement <br /> indicate the proposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of law, a public hearing on the <br /> proposed General Plan Amendment has been held; and <br /> WHEREAS, for the reasons stated above, the City Council has determined and <br /> finds it is in the public interest to amend the General Plan as requested; and. <br /> WHEREAS, the specific facts supporting the statements in this Resolution are <br /> • set out in more detail in the March 28th, .2002 Initial Study and the May 16th,2002 Staff <br /> Report. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does <br /> RESOLVE as follows: <br /> 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are included by reference as <br /> findings, <br /> 2.
