' 7 • ;• <br /> which meets the requirements of Public Resources Code Section 40950, <br /> namely the Intergovernmental Council Solid Waste Committee, which is <br /> composed of nine elected officials and provides balanced representation of <br /> the problems, issues, and viewpoints in different areas of the County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Committee is advised by the Solid Waste <br /> Technical AdvisoryCommittee, which is composed of solid waste <br /> p <br /> management professionals from local cities, the County, and the private <br /> sector and representatives of various community organizations, thus <br /> bringing a wide range of expertise, information, and involvement into the <br /> decision making process; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Council, the principal advisory <br /> committee on countywide solid waste planning in Santa Clara County, <br /> recommends designation of the Solid Waste Committee, with the support of <br /> it's Technical Advisory Committee, to fulfill the Task Force role; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills, State of California, in accordance with the above <br /> determinations, that the Resolution to designate the IGC Solid Waste <br /> Committee as the Santa Clara County Source Reduction and Recycling Task <br /> Force is hereby approved and adopted. <br /> REGULARLY passed and adopted this2istday of February , 1990. <br /> MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> / 1 <br /> CITY CL "K 021690 <br /> 2 <br />
