8.1.2 Webpage <br />The City Manager reported that Best would soon be providing the final cost figures and the <br />webpage should be up and running the end of the month. <br />8.2 City Attorney <br />8.2.1 Brown Act <br />The City Attorney reminded Council and recently elected Stephen Finn that the Brown Act <br />applied to seated and elected Council Members. <br />8.3 City Clerk <br />8.3.1 Report on Council Correspondence <br />9. COUNCIL -INITIATED ITEMS <br />9.1 Recommendation for appointments to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, <br />the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the Santa Clara Local Agency <br />Formation Commission (Mayor Johnson) <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To make the following recommendations at the Santa Clara County <br />Cities Association for appointments: Francis LaPoll to the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission, Julia Miller to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board of Directors <br />and Lanie Wheeler to the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). <br />9.2 Los Altos Recreation Department (Councilmember Casey) <br />Casey asked the City Manager when he planned to contact the Los Altos City Manager regarding <br />the Town's residents having access to programs offered by the Los Altos Recreation Department. <br />He replied that several major projects were almost completed and he would be contacting Los <br />Altos within the next three weeks. <br />9.3 Valley Transportation Authority Policy Advisory Board (Councilmember Siegel) <br />Siegel commented that with Hubbard leaving a vacancy would be created on the Valley <br />Transportation Authority Policy Advisory Board. Siegel further commented that he would be <br />interested in representing the Town on this board. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To appoint Siegel the Town's representative to the Valley <br />Transportation Authority Policy Advisory Board. <br />9.4. North County Library Authority (Mayor Pro Tem Dauber) <br />Dauber noted that the North County Library Authority was the initiating agency in urging the <br />establishment of an endowment fund for the library.
