4.10 Approved request from Westwind Barn to use Council Chambers on <br />kAr April 6th for a farewell party for Fran Stevenson (in case of rain) <br />Items Removed: <br />4.7 Request for authorization to advertise the Town's Edgerton Road <br />Landslide Mitigation Town Project 96-6 for competitive bids -- <br />Reso # <br />The City Engineer reported on the design options and the liability issue and noted <br />that this project may go over budget. When the bids were received more <br />information would be available on this project and its costs. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hubbard, seconded by Siegel and <br />passed unanimously to approve the request for authorization to advertise the <br />Town's Edgerton Road Landslide Mitigation Town Project 96-6 for competitive bids <br />— Reso #17-96 <br />4.9 Rejection of Claim: Bernice Spear <br />Casey asked if Ms. Spear had been advised that this was on the agenda and the City <br />Clerk responded that Ms. Spear had been so notified. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Casey, seconded by Siegel and <br />passed unanimously to reject the claim filed by Ms. Spear <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />5.1 Consideration to disburse FY 95-96 Budget Allocations to joint Venture <br />Silicon Valley and Children's Shelter <br />The City Manager reported that the FY 95-96 budget included a $1,500 allocation to <br />the Childrens' Shelter and $2,000 to joint Venture. These payments were to be <br />withheld until mid -year budget review and reconsidered at that time. Dauber <br />referred to the contributions joint Venture had received from other cities and <br />believed the Town's contributions should be more in line with these donations. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dauber, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed unanimously to approve a $1,500 contribution to the Childrens' Shelter. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Johnson, seconded by Dauber and <br />passed by the following roll call vote to approve a $1,000 contribution to joint <br />Venture Silicon Valley. <br />�4w March 20, 1996 <br />
