�W <br />The City Manager reported that Palo Alto was requesting an increase to $35,000 <br />for their contract to provide animal services to the Town. The City <br />Manager was contacting the Humane Society as well as other cities who <br />contract with Palo Alto to discuss available services and also to determine <br />which services were required to be provided to residents. <br />8.1.2 Municipal Code on Disk <br />The City Manager reported that the Technology Improvement Committee had <br />almost completed their project of putting the code on disk. There were <br />several issues to be addressed and this item would be brought to Council <br />for their approval. <br />8.1.3 Emergency Preparedness <br />The City Manager reported that April was Emergency Preparedness Month and <br />a roundtable discussion on emergency preparedness was scheduled for <br />April 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Several agencies would be invited <br />to send representatives to this meeting as well as the neighborhood <br />coordinators, the Safety Committee, ham radio operators, Council and <br />�W staff. <br />8.1.4 Mailing to Neighborhood Coordinators and Incorrect Address <br />Issue <br />The City Manager commented that the suggestion was made by the Safety <br />Committee to send a mailing to all residents advising them which <br />neighborhood they were in and who their neighborhood coordinator was. <br />This would be an extensive project and the committee had recommended <br />advertising for volunteers. It was agreed that an estimated time involved <br />for this project wound need to be ascertained. On the subject of incorrect <br />addresses staff had received a list from the Safety Committee and the <br />residents would be notified. <br />8.2 City Attorney <br />8.2.1 Sayer Code Compliance <br />The City Attorney reported that she would be responding the letter <br />received from the Sayers' attorney concerning their code <br />compliance. <br />�kw March 20, 1996 <br />
