MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Casey, seconded by Johnson and <br />passed unanimously to approve the minutes of the November 15, 1995 Regular City <br />Council Meeting with the following corrections: page 7, first paragraph, second <br />sentence should read: "They also commented on the lake issue and noted that the <br />approved tentative map for this project would supersede the reclamation plan upon <br />annexation of the property to the Town."; page 7, Passed by Consensus vote should <br />state "Juan Prado Mesa" not "Stonebrook Drive"; and page 8, third Passed by <br />Consensus should read: "To provide easements to the lake on the tentative map.. " <br />Dauber referred to a discussion item during the November 15th meeting and asked <br />that the issue of circular driveways (what kind the Town wanted to allow) be <br />agendized for future discussion. <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />5.1 Expiration of term on the Los Altos County Fire Protection District <br />Board of Directors in January 1996: William Siegel (This is a correction <br />to an item discussed at the November 15, 1995 City Council Agenda.) <br />The City Clerk reported that the term expiring on the Los Altos County Fire <br />Protection District Board of Directors was William Siegel's, not the terms of <br />Commissioners McGuigan and Stutz as reported at the last Council Meeting. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Hubbard, seconded by Johnson <br />and passed unanimously to recommend to the Board of Supervisors reappointment <br />of William Siegel to the Los Altos County Fire Protection District Board of Directors. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />6.1 Request to host Alpha Omega Shelter from June 8, 1996 <br />through July 7, 1996 - St. Nicholas Church and School, 12816 <br />El Monte Avenue <br />Pastor Curtis Church addressed the Council urging approval of this request. He <br />noted that this was a six-year program which rotated among twelve <br />churches in the area. He also commented that this program had a high <br />rate of success. Pastor Church urged Council to bring a meal one evening <br />to share with the participants in the program. This was an excellent <br />method of raising self esteem. <br />December 6, 1995 <br />City Council Meeting <br />
