MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel and seconded by <br /> Tryon to continue to July 24 meeting. <br /> 11.3 Setting Dates for: a Special Meeting for Seating of the New <br /> Councilmembers and Reorganization of the Council; a Study <br /> Session on the Budget an Orientation Meeting for New <br /> Councilmembers and Planning Commissioners; a Meeting of <br /> Committee Chairmen and the Mayor; and Possibly Rescheduling <br /> the July 18 Meeting as it Conflicts with the League of California Cities <br /> Conference in Monterey <br /> Budget Study Session scheduled for 4:30 p.m., Monday, July 23, 1990. <br /> Other topics in Item addressed earlier in the meeting. <br /> 11.4 Request to Attend the Mayors and Councilmembers <br /> Executive Forum in Monterey - July, 1990 <br /> PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To approve that all Councilmembers wishing to <br /> attend the Mayors and City Managers Executive Forum may attend and stay <br /> for up for three nights. <br /> 11.5 Appointment of Representative and Alternate to the Congestion <br /> Management Planning Agency <br /> It was decided by consensus that Bill Siegel should attend. Tryon believes that <br /> Councilmembers should be communicated with on this issue. The three <br /> cities most likely to be initial voting representatives would be the three <br /> largest cities in our group of six: Sunnyvale, Santa Clara and Mountain View. <br /> Other Items Raised by Councilmembers: <br /> Tryon believes Council should get a report back concerning two separate <br /> articles in the Chronicle about the City of Alameda law suit. Alameda has <br /> settled out of court and it would be nice to hear about what happened. <br /> The letter from Captain Gorman on Laurel Lane regarding the cable TV wire; <br /> Tryon understands that Sun Cable is going to move their wire up.
