• • <br /> WHEREAS, the option to renew the Agreement for an additional period <br /> of five (5) years commencing on May 1, 1987 has been exercised; and <br /> II <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council by adoption of the following <br /> Resolutions amended the Rate Schedule as • provided for in the <br /> above-described Agreement: • <br /> DATE RESOLUTION NO. <br /> Oct. 5, 1977 1075 <br /> Nov. 7, 1979 1247 <br /> March 4, 1981 1340 <br /> Sept, 2, 1981 1384 <br /> Aug. 18, 1982 1471 <br /> June 20, 1984 55-84 <br /> Dec. 3, 1986 174-86 <br /> May 20, 1987 44-87; and <br /> WHEREAS, the surcharge equal to 8.9 percent of the rates to be <br /> changed for each class of service shown in the Rate Schedule imposed by <br /> Resolution No. 1471 thereafter was repealed by Resolution No. 1567 adopted by <br /> the City Council on July 20, 1983, and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 19, 1984 the Council adopted Resolution No. <br /> 93-84 approving and authorizing the execution of a Second Addendum to <br /> Agreement providing for remittance by Los Altos Garbage Company to the <br /> Town of certain:amounts collected from its customers and which are <br /> -2- <br />
