*y B. TOWN HALL MASTER PLAN STUDY SESSION: (continued) : <br /> van Tamelen presented a brief background of this issue. She noted that <br /> it had been an earlier Councildecision to change the entrance to Town <br /> Hall and an ad hoc committee had been formed to study the Master Plan <br /> for Town Hall . The members of this ad hoc committee were: <br /> Councilmembers Plummer and van Tamelen, Mary Stutz, Viole Stamness and <br /> Nancy Lytle. By taking this course it was hoped that future expansion <br /> and changes to Town Hall would be done according to an approved plan. <br /> Casey expressed her strong concerns about not having adequate <br /> background information on this subject. She requested that a staff <br /> report be prepared including this background data and also a needs <br /> assessment of potentialfuture activity at Town Hall which would <br /> warrant an expansion of the facilities . Casey also suggested that the <br /> results of the community survey would be quite helpful in making a <br /> decision regarding the Town Hall. Master Plan. <br /> Mary Stutz , member of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Town Hall. Master <br /> Plan Study, commented that she strongly favored a plan which included <br /> additional parking. <br /> PASSED BY CONSENSUS : To review the three concept plans which Wolfe <br /> Mason had prepared, to agendize this issue for the next available <br /> 1111, Council Meeting and to direct staff to provide a staff report <br /> including the history of the matter. <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Casey left the meeting at 6 : 20 p.m. <br /> C. SELECTION OF EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT FIRM: <br /> Tryon reported that she and Mayor Pro Tem Casey had interviewed three <br /> firms (Ralph Anderson & Associates, Hughes Heiss & Associates and <br /> Norman Roberts & Associates , Inc. ) who had submitted proposals for <br /> recruitment of the City Manager. While the firms were all well <br /> qualified , their recommendation was Norman Roberts and Associates , <br /> Inc. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Tryon, seconded by Johnson and <br /> passed unanimously by all members present to authorize negotiations <br /> with Norman Roberts and Associates , Inc. to recruit a City Manager for <br /> the Town. <br /> D.
