B. CONSENT CALENDAR (CONTINUED) : <br /> 3. Resolution # awarding a contract for the Pavement Management <br /> Road Improvements <br /> The City Manager reported that two bids had been received as of the <br /> 2:00 p.m. bid opening. The low bid was from Graham Contractors , Inc. <br /> of San Jose in an amount of $316, 545 . 09 . The City Manager further <br /> noted for purposes of clarification that the amounts given in the <br /> report before Council did not reflect the charges incurred for <br /> resurfacing Elena and Moody. With these charges included the amount in <br /> the budget was approximately $195 less than the low bid. However, the <br /> staff ' s recommendation was to award the contract to the low bidder, <br /> Graham Contractors as the funds were elsewhere accounted for in the <br /> budget. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel , seconded by Dronkert and <br /> passed unanimously to adopt Resolution #79-87 awarding a contract for <br /> the Pavement Management Road Improvements to Graham Contractors , Inc. <br /> 4. Resolution # approving final subdivision map and approving and <br /> authorizing execution of subdivision agreement (Lands of DelMonte) <br /> David Schricker, Acting City Attorney, referred Council to the City <br /> Attorney' s memo dated 8/1/87 concerning a resolution concerning a <br /> private sanitary sewer maintenance agreement. Mr. Schricker <br /> recommended that this resolution be added to the agenda as an urgency <br /> matter in that it was directly related to the subdivision agreement <br /> before Council . <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by Siegel and <br /> passed unanimously to add consideration of a Resolution approving an <br /> agreement between the Town and Tod Properties, Inc . , and Bas Homes, <br /> Inc. and ordering recordation thereof to the agenda as an urgency <br /> matter. <br /> PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To amend Condition 6.A of the Conditions of <br /> Approval for the Tentative Map to allow the existing residence to <br /> remain until fall/winter to allow the Fire Department an opportunity <br /> to burn down the house as a training exercise. <br /> PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To add a statement to Condition 6 .B. as follows: <br /> plantings (reseeding and replanting) shall be made to the satisfaction <br /> of the Town staff. <br /> MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Siegel , seconded by Dronkert and <br /> passed unanimously to adopt Resolution #80-87 approving and <br /> authorizing execution of an agreement between the Town of Los Altos <br /> Hills and Tod Properties, Inc. , and Bas Homes, Inc. , and ordering <br /> recordation thereof. <br /> 3- 8/5/87 <br />
