I, Side II, 001-469 <br />Mayor van Tamelen called the Adjourned Regular Meeting to order <br />at 4:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL• <br />Present: Mayor van Tamelen and Councilmembers Dronkert, <br />Rydell (arrived at 4:50 p.m.) and Tryon <br />Absent: None <br />Staff: City Manager George Scarborough, City Attorney <br />Frank Gillio and City Clerk Pat Dowd <br />Press: Mike McDevitt, Los Altos Town Crier <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING/STUDY SESSION: <br />1. Ordinance # amending Title 6 of the Los Altos <br />Hills Municipal Code entitled 'Sanitation and <br />Health' by adding thereto Chapter 5 entitled <br />'Nuisances' <br />The Council invited comments on the proposed nuisance ordinance <br />from those residents present. <br />Teddi Schick, Weston Drive, asked if she complained about a <br />nuisance situation, would she have to give her name? Charles <br />Bittman, 14350 Manuella, asked if a discer would be covered by <br />this ordinance? Bob Hall, 12140 Foothill Lane, cited a situation <br />on Foothill Lane where the weeds were six feet tall, a boat had <br />been parked for about four years and lumber was stacked to prac- <br />tically the size of the Council Chambers. Dr. Andrea Neves, 12896 <br />Viscaino, explained a situation where the property owners had 8- <br />12 cars, van, campers, etc. in their front yard but these <br />vehicles were not within the 40' setback.
