CITY COUNCIL, MIIIOPFS - January 16, 1985 <br />G. SPECIAL REPORTS: Item G.3.c) PG&E (continued): <br />Dennis Ikerd, PG&E Area Manager, agreed with the position made in the 1/16/85 <br />article of the San Jose Mercury; however, he did rote that there had been <br />a long-standing problem in the area of Natoma and Black Mountain. Mr. Ikerd <br />stated he would welceme the opportunity to answer residents' questions either <br />at the next Council meeting or at neighborhood meetings. He asked Council <br />which format they would prefer. It was agreed Mr. Ikerd would be at the 2/6/85 <br />Council meeting to present information On outages in 'town, answer questions, etc. <br />b) EVhrman - Transportation Carmission <br />Fuhrman cam ented that at a recent meeting, a discussion was held on the need <br />for road repair in the County on roads not covered by Measure A. The financial <br />shortfall for these repairs was great and it was still a problem to be resolved. <br />ftuman will keep the Council advised of further discussions. <br />C) Dronkert - Pathway Report <br />Dronkert questioned whether the pathway bridge was in at Matadero Creek Sub- <br />division and was advised by Mary Stutz, Chairman - Pathways Ccrudttee, that <br />this project had been Meted. <br />H. STAFF - REPORTS, ODRRESPONDENCE AND ANNOUNCII+IRM: <br />1. City Manager: <br />a) Report on obtaining funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />This item was discussed earlier in the meeting. <br />b) Audit Report for Fiscal Year 1983-84 <br />It was agreed this item would be continued to the 2/6/85 Council meeting for <br />a report fxcm the Finance Committee. Allison also noted that an inventory of <br />fixed assets still needed to be done and this should be an item for next year's <br />audit. <br />c) Authorizing legal proceedings to force compliance with Town 'a Zoning <br />Ordinance Height Restriction <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To concur with the staff recommendation that the Council <br />delay initiation of legal proceedings to force carpliance with the Town's Zoning <br />Ordinance Height Restriction until such time as the Planning Caumission sulmits <br />its report to the City Council and the Council finishes its deliberations <br />regarding the Planning Ccammission report. It was further agreed that this item <br />would be continued specifically to the second meeting in March. <br />I. PUBLIC HEARING: APPEAL OF SITE DEVEFOPMENT COMMITTEE'S DENIAL FOR IAT IMPFDVE- <br />NEWS UYT #8, K%TADER3 CREEK SUBDIVISION, IA1W OF MEISE <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To concur with the applicant's request to continue this <br />item to the second meeting in February. <br />
