CITY COUNCIL MOVIES - July 3, 1985 <br />D. CONSENT CALENDAR (continued): <br />kkw Item Removed: D.1 6/19/85 minutes (Allison); D.2 (Dronkert) <br />MDTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Rydell, seconded by Allison and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to approve the balance of the Consent Calendar, <br />specifically: <br />1. Approval of Minutes: June 25, 1985 <br />3. Motion for Adoption: Notion setting July 17, 1985 as the Public Hearing <br />date for consideration of proposed use of Revenue Sharing Funds for 1985-86 <br />fiscal year. <br />4. Resolutions for Adoption: <br />a) Resolution #71-85 setting the tine and place of a public hearing on <br />the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1985-86. <br />b) Resolution #72-85 setting the tine and place of a public hearing on <br />all objections or protests to the proposed adoption of the Palo Alto <br />Sewer Service Charge Final Report <br />c) Resolution 473-85 setting the time and place of public hearing on an <br />application for a special land use permit (Lands of Barton, 13833 <br />Barton Court) <br />d) Resolution #74-85 setting the time and place of public hearing on an <br />application for a special land use permit (Lards of Gardner, Dawnridge) <br />5. Request from Las Altos Fire Department for Council authorization to remove <br />fire hazards on a certain property in the Town (AFN 182-10-11) <br />Mayor Dronkert reported that as Director of Energency Services she had signed a <br />proclamation on 7/2/85 proclaiming the existence of a local emergency in the Town. <br />It was required that this proclamation be confirmed by the Council. <br />MDTICN SECONDED AND CARRIEO: Novel by Allison, seconded by Rydell and passed unani- <br />mously by all members present to adopt Resolution #75-85 confirming existence of a <br />local Emergency. <br />School District, expressed their concern and sympathy for the residents of Los <br />Altos Hills who were affected by the fire on July 1st and also expressed their <br />sinurrn hope for a rapid recovery by these residents. <br />Mrs. Jane Gross, 26304 Esperanza Drive, and. Mrs. Nina Grinch, 26346 Esoeranza Drive, <br />each addressed the Council with their concerns over fire safety. They suggested <br />the Town institute and enforce a weed abatement ordinance and that the fire- <br />retardent roofing ordinance be reinstated. <br />-2- <br />
