I=JIEWS ADD APPOIIPIMENTS FOR THE FINANCE CONPTIT'EE AND PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously to appoint William Siegel to the Planning Commission for a term of <br />one year to fill an unexpired term effective July 1, 1984. <br />The City Council thanked the other candidates for their interest and after con- <br />sultation with the City Attorney agreed to make appointments to fill the vacancies <br />on various Tann committees. <br />mmiw SECONDED AND CARRIED: moved by Dronkert, seconded by Ryell and passed unani- <br />mously to appoint Ernest Solomon to the Roads and Drainage Ccmnittee. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: To appoint Barbara Tryon to the Pathways Cannittee. <br />PASSED BY CONSENSUS: TO appoint David Palley to the Safety Committee. <br />D. Approval of Minutes: April 17, 1984 and April 18, 1984 (Special Meeting) <br />E. PRESENMTIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />Mr. David Ivwry, 1229 Rousseau, Sunnyvale, referred to his 5/5/84 letter to the <br />Council in which he requested an exception to the Town's policy that a final <br />inspection of new construction would not occur until a landscaping plan had been <br />approved. He outlined the situation involved in building his new here on Country <br />Way and noted that he was informed the landscape approval process would take 4-6 <br />weeks. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Dronkert, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously to authorize a final inspection of 13300 Country Way with the stipula- <br />tion that a $5,000 bond be deposited in addition to the $1,000 landscape bond. The <br />$5,000 bond will be refunded upon approval of the landscape plans by the Site <br />Develognent Committee. <br />• a. • , r, w7eA <br />Resolution # granting to City Engineer a one year blanket authorization <br />to execute all certificates or documents required in certifying rights of way <br />for federally funded and/or state funded projects. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Novel by van Tamrlen, seconded by Dronkert and passed <br />by the following roll call vote to adopt Resolution #41-84 granting to City Engineer <br />a one year blanket authorization to execute all certificates or docwments required <br />( in certifying rights of way for federally funded and/or state funded projects. <br />�v AYES: Mayor Allison and Councibumibers Fuhrman, Rydell and van Tamelen <br />NOES: None <br />PRESENT: Mayor Pro Ten Dronkert <br />-2- <br />
