CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - July 18, 1984 <br />D. SPECIAL ORDERS (continued): <br />v MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Rydell and passed <br />unanimously to waive further reading of Ordinance. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, bed-br van Twelm, (AMUED B3 <br />seconded by Rydell and passel unaninmusly to introduce Ordinance #289. COUNCIL 8/1/84) <br />2. Ordinance # amending Chapter 1 entitled "Animals" of Title 6 of the <br />Los Altos Hills Municipal Code (FIRST READING) <br />Dronkert stated that she did not agree with Section 2(b) in the proposed ordinance <br />which stated that any person found guilty of a violation of this ordinance could <br />be deemd guilty of an infraction and each day of such violation would constitute <br />a separate infraction. Dronkert expressed the opinion that this was very severe. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Fikuman and passed <br />unanimously to waive further reading of ordinance. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by van Tmelen, seconded by Ftikmr and passel <br />by the following roll call vote to introduce Ordinance #290. <br />AYES: Mayor Allison and Councilmenbers F tuaan, Rydell and van Tamelen <br />NOES: Mayor Pro Tem Dronkert <br />3. Public Hearing: <br />a) Resolution #. ordering the vacation and abandonment of a portion of a <br />certain non -vehicular street access easement in the City of the Town of <br />Ips Altos Hills under the "Public Streets, Highways and Service Ease ants <br />Vacation law", Section 8300, et seg., of the Streets and Highways Code of <br />California (Purissima Hills Water District). <br />Council had before them the 7/13/64 staff report from the Acting City Manager/ <br />Engineer which included the recommendation that because of site development concerns <br />the public hearing be continued to give all interested parties additional time to <br />address their concerns. Other alternatives would be for the District to acquire <br />a Public Utilities Easement or for both the District and the property comer to go <br />through the Site Development process. <br />It was noted at this point that the representatives from the Water District were <br />not yet present at the meting. <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID FAILED: Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Fuhrman and failed <br />by the following roll call vote to continue discussion of this item until the <br />Wates District representatives were present. <br />AYES: CouncilnEmbers Rydell and van Tamelen <br />NOES: Mayor Allison and Councilmembers Dronkert and Fuhxman <br />L -2- <br />
