STUDY SESSION - 1983-84 PRDPOSED BUDGET (continued) <br />M TION SEGGNBED AM CARRM): Moved by van Tamelen, seconded by Allison and passed <br />„nanjumusly by all menbers present to refer the matter of library support and <br />funding to the Finance Canmittee for review and recauendation to the Council. <br />Account - Town Committees <br />M7TION SE MIDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously by all members present to delete the $500 for a newcomer pamphlet, <br />delete the $1,000 for a survey of resident disaster skills and add the survey to <br />the newsletters, and change the amount budgeted for two newsletters from $2,000 to <br />$1,500. <br />MOTION SEODMIDED APED CARRIED: Moved by Prof t, seconded by Allison and passed by <br />the following roll call vote to delete the expenditure for a Town booklet. <br />AYES: coumcilmendbers Allison, Perkins and Proft <br />NOES: Mayor van Tamelen <br />ABSENT: Comcilwmian Hillestad <br />Mayor van Tamlen camnented that she and Julie Burian, ChaRrm n of the Environmental <br />Design Parks and Recreation Cannittee could be meeting in the near future with <br />outside sources for possible funding of this project. <br />E. GENERAL ORDERS APED UNFINISHED BNISINFSS: <br />%WAllison reported that the study session on the issue of cable tv had been scheduled <br />for Monday, July 25, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. The City Clerk was directed to issue press <br />releases to the Los Altos Town Crier, the San Jose Mercury and the Peninsula Times <br />Tribune. <br />F. NEN BUSINESS: <br />1. LANDS OF HATH, File FM #1-82 - time extension request <br />M7SION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Allison, seconded by Perkins and passed by <br />the following roll call vote to approve a time extension request of ninety days <br />for the tentative map, Lands of Huth. <br />* <br />G.
