CITY MM= MINUTES - September 15, 1982 <br />D. <br />STAFF - REPORTS, OJRRFSPONDENCE AND ANNOUNCEMENTS (continued): <br />f) Ices Altos Garbage Ccapany <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by Proft and passed <br />unanimously to approve the reccmendation of the Ios Altos Garbage Cmipany to <br />postpone the JPA percentage to the Decauber 1, 1982 billing cycle. <br />g) Town Staff <br />The Acting City Manager cotm¢:nted that both Edward Murphy and David Flores had <br />efficiently and successfully completed several projects, i.e. the S -Curve. <br />Ilene Sokoloff, 12390 Barley Hill Road, suggested that the bike path be widened <br />at the S -Curve to two lanes and that a crossing area be painted on the street. <br />h) City Engineer <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Proft, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously to authorize the Acting City Manager to employ on an as needed basis, <br />with a $5,000 limit, an engineer to provide services for those projects which <br />require a registered engineer. <br />E. <br />SPECIAL ORDERS: <br />1. Public Hearings: <br />a) Consideration of proposed use of Revenue Sharing Funds for 1982-83 Fiscal <br />year <br />MOTION SECONDED ADID CARRIED: Moved by Hillestad, seconded by van Tamelen and passed <br />unanimously to approve proposed use of Revenue Sharing Funds: $32,000 to finance <br />operating budget of the Town. <br />b) Consideration of Budget for fiscal year 1982-83 <br />MOTION SECONDED AMID CARRIED: Moved by Proft, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />unanimously to adopt Resolution #1986 adopting the budget for the Tam of Ins <br />Altos Hills for the Fiscal year 1982-83 <br />c) Appeal of Variance and Permit CmYnission denial for IANDS OF HASENPFLUG, <br />File VAR #5-82 <br />The Assistant Planner reported that the Variance and Permit Conaission had denied <br />the Hasenpflug's request for future maxi= development area of 15,000 square feet <br />on their substandard lot. The denial was appealed by the Hasenpflugs in a letter <br />dated 9/1/82 fron their attorney. <br />John Sires, applicant's attorney, presented a brief history of the Hasenpflugs' <br />relationship with the adjoining property owners. The Hasenpflugs were of the <br />opinion that they were buying a one acre lot unencatbered by an easement. While <br />they were willing to grant an easement to their neighbor, Mrs. Kloc, they would <br />want their resulting substandard lot treated as a standard lot with an MDA of 15,000 <br />square feet. <br />-4- <br />
