Reports from the Planning ConmissiOn: none <br />4. Presentations from the Floor: <br />i, 27073 Horsesh�e Lane, addressed the Council concerning the parking <br />mTt . on Horseshoe 1,ane. Tne parking situation was becoming a problem <br />for the many interrational visitors the Dais had; some had been ticketed by <br />the Sheriff's Department. There had also been a problem with neighoors on <br />Horseshoe Lane and Mr. Dai hoped the situation could be resolved to everyone's <br />benefit. <br />Tk�!%OV, lg!Mi�2LI 12 Horseshoe Lanet supported Mr. Dai's request and also <br />r4 . )t the parkang situation on Horseshoe Iane. <br />It was agreed that Mr. Dai would meet with staff, the parking situation on <br />Horseshoe Iane would be investigated and staff would report back to Council. <br />D. STAFF - REPORTS, CORRESPONDENCE AND AN"DLNCEMENTS: <br />1. city Manager: <br />a) Request for additional appropriation of! funds for printing/ <br />publication of Town Booklet <br />The City Manager suggested that Council review a final copy of the Town Booklet <br />and than make their recomnendation on additional allocation of funds. Council <br />agreed to this recommendation. <br />b) Request from "parents Who Car�e" to me the Municipal Facilities <br />Building for a square dance on May 2, 1981 <br />The City Manager reported that he had received a request from Mrs. Stella Karras <br />of "Parents Who Care" to me the Municipal Facilities Building ("Barn") for a <br />dance for the Gunn High School Sophomore Class on May 2, 1981. The City Manager <br />noted that they would provide their own insurance for the event and he was per- <br />sonally satisfied that they would work out the technicalities and that it was <br />a worthwhile event for the Town to support. <br />nYIIGN SECaMED AM CARRIED: Moved by Perkins, seconded by Hillestad and passed <br />by all members present to allow the me of the Municipal Facilities Building for <br />the evening of May 2, 1981 by the Gunn High School Sophomore Class under the <br />sponsorship of the "Parents Who Caxe�" with the understanding that all the techni- <br />calities are worked out and their insurance policy is approved by the City <br />Attorney. <br />-2- <br />4%W <br />
