II, 001 -End <br />Mayor Pro Tem Thomas McReynolds called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 7:37 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: <br />Present: Mayor Pro Tem McReynolds, Councilmembers Nystrom, Perkins and <br />Proft. <br />Absent: Mayor Hillestad. <br />Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe, City Attorney Frank Gillio, City <br />Engineer John Carlson, Commissioner Arthur Lachenbruch for the <br />Planning Commission and Deputy City Clerk Susan Buttler. <br />Press: Florence Pallakoff, Los Altos Town Crier and Jan Shaw, San <br />Francisco Examiner. <br />(6�B. CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Nystrom, seconded by <br />Councilman Perkins and passed unanimously by all present to approve the <br />entire Consent Calendar, specifically: <br />1. Approval of Minutes: December 20, 1978. <br />2. Approval of Warrants: $13,432.06. <br />C. SPECIAL REPORTS: <br />1. <br />Reports <br />of Standing Committees:- <br />None <br />2. <br />Reports <br />of Ad Hoc Committees: <br />None <br />3. <br />Reports <br />from the Planning Commission: <br />Commissioner Lachenbruch questioned the status of the Ordinance #239 <br />revision which had been acted upon by the Planning Commission in mid- <br />November. There was confusion as to whether this had been forwarded to <br />the City Attorney for review and Councilmembers determined that, in the <br />future, items from the Commission be brought to the City Manager's atten- <br />tion for inclusion on his Manager's Report and periodically reviewed by <br />the Commissioners for progress made. <br />4. Presentations from the Floor: None <br />D. STAFF - REPORTS, CORRESPONDENCE & ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />40. 1. City Manager: None <br />As it was not yet the hour for Special Orders, Council adjourned for <br />approximately thirty minutes to an Executive Session for the purpose <br />of litigation. <br />
