CItY COUNCIL MINUTES - April 2, 1979 <br />B. CONSENT CALENDAR: (Continued) <br />04W 4. Actions of the Variance & Permit Commission (Continued) <br />b) LANDS OF SNEDIGAR, File B.S.A. #6112-79. <br />nedigar, Applicant, questioned the Code requirements for moving of the house currently <br />Mr. � �r <br />OF A operty and asked that the fees be re -considered. <br />A brief discussion followed on these points with determination continued on the house <br />moving until the City Attorney could be present and action as follows. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Proft, seconded by Councilman Perkins <br />and passed unanimously to waive the Path -in -lieu fee of $300.00 and reduce the Road -in -lieu <br />fee to $280.00. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Proft, seconded by Councilman Perkins <br />and carried unanimously to approve LANDS OF SNEDIGAR, File B.S.A. #6112-79 subject to <br />conditions as recommended by the Variance & Permit Commission and, as amended above. <br />5. Resolutions for Adoption: <br />a) Resolution # approving Joint Powers Agreement for Criminal Justice Planning <br />and Administration. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Proft, seconded by Councilwoman <br />Hillestad and passed unanimously to continue this matter to the next meeting so that <br />Councilmembers might review the Agreement which had not been presented. <br />C. SPECIAL REPORTS: <br />1. Reports of Standing Committees: <br />a) Pathway Committee - Ramped Curbs. <br />Mrs. Stevenson, Pathway Committee, provided a general outline of their memo of March 26th. <br />Councilmembers reviewed with the City Manager the feasibility of the request, the drainage <br />problems needed to be resolved along Robleda and dangers caused by the existing pathway <br />construction. Consensus was to direct the City Manager to work out a solution with the <br />Pathway Committee as quickly as possible. <br />2. Reports of Ad Hoc Committees: <br />a) Status Report on Traffic Circulation Study. <br />Councilman Perkins advised of the Committees' efforts to date in researching historical <br />data on proposals considered previously for the Chaparral Way/Moody Road area and offered <br />the following four recommendations: (1) The Study should proceed immediately on a priorit� <br />basis and be completed on or before April 13, 1979; (2) Consulting assistance should be <br />used as required and the Committee should continue in its participationj (3) The primary <br />objective is to delineate alternative circulation plans in the area including engineering, <br />safety and aesthetic factors for each; and, (4) The Mt. Helen property should be excluded <br />from the planned area now and until such time as that land use changes. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Perkins, seconded by Councilman Nystrom <br />and carried by the following roll call vote to approve the four recommendations of the <br />Committee as shown above. <br />AYES: Councilmembers Hillestad, Nystrom and Perkins <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mayor McReynolds and Councilman Proft. <br />-2- <br />
