CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - January 16, 1974 <br />2. Mayor Helgesson requested that the City Manager read a letter <br />received from Mrs. F. The City Manager also read a letter signed by a group of residents <br />along Altamont Road addressed to the attention of the Mayor regarding <br />noise and requested thatfic Staffndirectsthe Sheriff''ssnt Road. Department tocpatrolrthe areas <br />heavily, especially during the hours that Foothill College was in session, <br />since most of the traffic appeared to be caused by thru traffic going <br />to Foothill College. Mayor Helgesson stated that copies of this letter <br />had been forwarded to the Town's Traffic and Public Safety Committee <br />for their study and recommendations. <br />Both firs. Pulford's letter and this communication were discussed by <br />Council. Staff was instructed to re -direct to Council's attention <br />the Staff report on the stop sign at the corner of Weston road for next <br />meeting. Councilwoman Miller asked that the stop sign at the corner of <br />Weston be referred to the Traffic and Public Safety Committee. M. Laws, Hooper Lane. <br />4. Mr. John Dannenberg 12374 Melody Lane: <br />Commented on the patching of Elena Road. Asked Council to consider <br />passing a Resolution for routine maintenance program for the roads of <br />the Town. <br />The City Manager commented that the Town had recently ordered a new <br />patching truck, and upon delivery the Crew would be available to patch <br />the roads on a more frequent basis. Mr. Lawson also said that the new <br />Security Patrolman was keeping the Town informed of the roads most in <br />need for repair.
