u <br />4w <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - April 17, 1974 <br />After an informal poll of the audience, the most popular chair appeared <br />to be one made by the Stackmor Company. Discussion ensued on the prices <br />of the chairs. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilwoman Miller moved, seconded by Councilman <br />Helgesson and unanimously approved by Council to purchase forty (40) Stackmor <br />chairs at a cost not to exceed $34.00 each. Council agreed the color could be <br />decided at a later date. <br />2. Resolution # callin for bids for im rovements S.A.D. #10 and <br />setting a Public ear ng or une 9 <br />Mr. Lawson explained background of the proposed Sewer Assessment District <br />and the Council's and Staff's actions to date. <br />Mr. Phil Asaff, Bond Councillor, addressed Council regarding the steps <br />necessary to form Assessment District #10. He summarized the Resolutions <br />presented to Council this evening which were ministerial only, and said <br />that no action could be taken on this District until after a public <br />hearing. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Council- <br />man Cheney and unanimously carried to adopt the following Resolutions by their <br />title: <br />Resolution #A;2 <br />Resolution #763 - <br />Resolution #764 - <br />Resolution #765 - <br />Resolution #766 <br />Resolution #767 <br />A Resolution of Intention to Acquire and Construct <br />Improvements, S.A.D. #10. <br />A Resolution of Preliminary Approval of Engineer's <br />Report, S.A.D. #10. <br />A Resolution establishing Prevailing Nage Scale, <br />S.A.D. #10. <br />A Resolution Appointing Time and Place of Hearing <br />Protests in Relation to Proposed Acquisitions and <br />Improvements, and Directing Notice, S.A.D. #10. <br />A Resolution Calling for Sealed Proposals and Fixing <br />Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete the Work <br />Within Time Specified, S.A.D. #10. <br />A Resolution Describing Proposed Boundaries of Assessment <br />District, Directing Filing of Boundary Map and Assessment <br />Diagram and the Recordation of Notice of Assessment, <br />S.A.D. #10. <br />Speaking from the Floor: <br />Mr. Bill Or ant, La Loma Court: Questions relating to Assessment District <br />t`o w rc r. sa a resse himself. <br />3.
