CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />April 3, 1972 <br />Reel 42 Side 1 Track 2 270 -Lind <br />Mayor Walter A. Benson called the regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Corbett, Davey, Grabowski, <br />Helgesson, and Mayor Benson. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSICN REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Lachenbruch. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of February 22, 1972. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Grabowski and carried unanimously <br />that the minutes of February 22, 1972 be approved with the correction on <br />page 3, paragraph 3, changing "Policy Planning Committee" to "Planning <br />Policy Committee". <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Department of Health, Education and Welfare responded to the Town Resolu- <br />410 tion No. 660, regarding control of mercury contamination. <br />2. Mrs. Mary G. Steers requested consideration of an amendment to the Town's <br />ordinances to permit landowners to clear brush for fire prevention with- <br />out obtaining a permit. <br />3. Mr. M. J. Brown commented on actions taken at the City Council on <br />March 20 re: Business Licenses and purchase of O'Keefe property. <br />4. League of California Cities transmitted several miscellaneous announce- <br />ments and the Legislative Bulletin, dated March 24. Legislative Council <br />in Sacramento on April 26 and 27 will be attended by Councilman Grabowski. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. Since the Council is required to meet on April 18, 1972 to canvass the <br />election returns, the Council agreed to cancel the regularly scheduled <br />meeting on April 17, 1972. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1 <br />BUILDING SITE APPROVAL FOR LOT #3, TRACT #2947 (BSA -76-72). APPLICANT: <br />JOHN B. MKON. <br />Staff reviewed the March 27th Planning Commission discussion and the cheek <br />list recommended for approval. Council concurred. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Grab- <br />owski and carried unanimously that the request of John B. Moxon for Building <br />Site Approval (BSA 76-72) for lot #3, tract #2947 be approved. <br />
