Helgesson called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos 4111s to order at 7:50 P.M. in the Council <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with <br />the following members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Davey, <br />Grabowski, Kubby, Puller and Mayor Helgesson. <br />PLANVING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Priscilla Weisbart <br />APPROVAL OF MIJUTES <br />,; mutes of May 16, 1972 <br />Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Miller and carried unanimously that <br />the minutes of Mav 16, 1972 be approved as written. <br />Minutes of Jure _3_: #57f, <br />Councilman Davey roved, se,:onn*.d by Grabowski and carried by majority <br />vote {Mayor Halq,ss�r. a'asteined as absent} that the minutes of <br />June 5, 1972 be apprc.+F; wi;:h the following correction: <br />Page 3, Unsched,i.sc '_..m No. 21 first sentence, should read: <br />Mr. "Daniel" 9 ,ii:an <br />Minutes of June!, 19'"2 <br />Councilman Davey m.^ved, seconded by hiller and carried by majority vote <br />{Councilman Grabowski and Mayor Helgesson abstained as absent} that the <br />minutes of June 7, 1972 be approved as written. <br />Speaking from the floor, airs. M. Saviano stated she felt floor partici- <br />pation should be recorded in the minutes by individual name and view- <br />point. R. Cheney objected to the City Attorney+s recommendation of <br />not recording floor comments/names at all but felt minutes should state <br />the participant and his viewpoint. Mr. A. Laws felt there should be <br />revisions to the minutes making them as brief as possible. Mrs. Carico <br />felt minutes should reflect the individual+s viewpoint. <br />For the record, the City Clerk stated he took full responsibility of <br />writing and summarizing floor comments as he did in the June 5th minutes <br />and emphasized the fact that the Council minutes are lengthy and <br />summation is necessary in order to curtail extraneous typing, repro- <br />duction, handling, reading, etc. <br />
