Helgessnn called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Les Altos Hills to order at 7945 P.M. in the Cnuncil <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Lns Altos Hills, with the <br />fellnwing members answering roll call: Presents Councilmen Davey, <br />Grahowski, Miller and Mayer Helgessnn. .Councilman Kubby arrived at <br />7:55 P.M. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: A. Lachenbruch <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES+ September 19, 1972 <br />Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Miller and carried unanimously <br />that the minutes of September 14, 1972 be approved as written. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. City of Half Moan Bay urged the Council to oppose Propositien <br />No. 20 --Coastal Zone Conservation Act. <br />2. Inter Cnmmunity Cnuncil requested the financial pariielpatien In.a <br />program designed to deal with current drug and alcohrl abuse. <br />3. A letter was read from the City of San Jose, dated Septemher 25, <br />regarding the County -wide hlcycle safety rreject. <br />4. Staff read letter, dated Septem5er 22, 1972, from the Sierra Cluh <br />regarding three parcels Incated on Page Mill Rnad and Black Mountain <br />Road in Les Altos Hills which the Palo Alto Unified School District <br />plans to sell. <br />Flner Participatinn9 Mrs. M. Sutton, representing the Sierra Cluh, <br />and Mrs. P. Weishart beth spnke 1n regard to the sale of this <br />property. <br />S. Staff read a letter from the City of Santa Clara, dated September 26 <br />taking a nen-partisan stand in surrnrt of Propnsition Nn. 18 and <br />urged the Town to endorse this proposition. <br />6. A letter from the Mayor oof San Diego was read which urged the <br />Tnwn0s support me Preposition No. 20. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. Inter City Cnuncil announced their next meeting, Octeher 5, 1972, <br />8:00 P.M. in San Jose. <br />
