UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 6: <br />CONSIDERATION OF NOISE ABATEMENT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION RE: INTERSTATE <br />6F #280 TRUCK TRAFFIC. <br />Council concurred the Mayor should be authorized to transmit the letter <br />proposed by the Noise Abatement Committee to neighboring communities, <br />urging their cooperative efforts on noise control on Interstate #280. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 7: <br />STAFF REPORTS. <br />City Manager: <br />1) Requested Council confirmation of past policy to bill candidates for <br />actual pro -rata costs of preparing and distributing Statements of <br />Qualifications for the April 14 Municipal Election. Council concurred <br />to continue this policy. <br />2) Presented report on drainage inspections, noting daily inspections <br />have been documented, in the vicinity of the Anacapa slide area. <br />City Clerk: <br />1) Noted Planning Commissioner Dawson's and Minckley's terms expire <br />March 14, 1970, and the Commission will elect new officers February 9, <br />1970. <br />2) Reviewed Commission request for legal advice from City Attorney re <br />disclosure of assets. City Attorney stated clarification on this <br />new State law should be available in February. <br />`r 3) Distributed ballots to Council for election of Officers, Association <br />of Bay Area Governments. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />1. Letter from Stanley Grabowski, 25660 La Larne Court opposing increased <br />traffic from the proposed Westridge Shopping Center. <br />It was noted during Council discussion that the Los Altos Planning Commission <br />has recommended Los Altos change their sphere of influence boundaries so as <br />to include the Westridge Area. Council concurred to support the City of <br />Los Altos in this position. <br />2. A. M. Laws, 11210 Hooper Lane, urged the Town to expedite establishment <br />of sphere of influence boundaries. <br />3. Planning Commission Chairman William A. Perkins announced the Commission <br />will hold "A NIGHT OF INTROSPECTION" on January 26 and invited all Councilmen <br />to attend. <br />RESOLUTIONS• <br />1. Resolution No. 566, determining unpaid assessments and providing for <br />issuance of Bonds, Sewer Assessment District No, 4, <br />City Attorney introduced and read in its entirety Resolution No. 566, a <br />resolution determining unpaid assessments and providing for issuance of <br />f bonds, Sewer Assessment District No. 4. <br />` MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Bensol <br />and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that Resolution No. 566 be <br />adopted as read. <br />SE <br />
