Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:46 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, <br />Helgesson and Mayor Aiken. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner A. H. Lachenbruch <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 2, 1970. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Davey and carried unanimously, <br />that the Minutes of February 2, 1970 be approved as submitted. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 5, 1970. <br />Amendments: <br />1) Page 1 (Item 5), insert after City of Los Altos "for use of off-duty <br />patrolman". <br />2) Page 1, second paragraph from bottom of page should begin "Assuming <br />additional patrol is wanted within twenty-four hours,". <br />3) Page 2 (Item 1 under Mr. Ken Young's comments) add at the end of the <br />paragraph "; Mr. Young stated that it was his feeling that the burglary <br />figures presented by Mr. C. B. Marron above, included an area larger than <br />the Town City limits." <br />Councilman Fowle moved, seconded by Benson, that the Minutes of <br />February 5, 1970 be approved as amended, was carried by majority voice vote, <br />Councilman Helgesson abstained. <br />1. A. L. Pinkley, Mayor of the City of Costa Mesa, advising of Drug Abuse <br />Program to be held February 28, 1970. <br />2, Co G. Ferguson, California Water Service Company, notification of <br />requested rate increase of .97%. <br />3. Robert G. Beverley, Chairman State. Assembly Committee on Finance and <br />Insurance, notification of increased availability of Federal flood insurance. <br />City Attorney recommended Council adopt the resolution at next meeting <br />requesting the Federal Government to provide flood and landslide insurance <br />protection for Town property owners, noting there would be no cost or <br />AV liability to the Town. Council concurred. <br />
