RESOLUTIONS: <br />1. Resolution No. 602 <br />City Attorney introduced and read in its entirety Resolution No. 602, a resolution <br />of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills regarding off-site subdivision <br />directional signs. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by Grabowski and <br />carried unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 602 which provides that the number of <br />off-site subdivision signs permitted by the City shall also apply to the unincorpo- <br />rated areas within the City's sphere of influence. <br />2. Resolution No. 603 <br />City Attorney introduced and read in its entirety Resolution No. 603, a resolution <br />of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills regarding off-site advertising <br />signs adjacent to County expressways. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 603 which urges the County and all <br />other cities to enact regulations prohibiting off-site advertising signs located <br />within 600' of any County expressway. <br />ORDINANCES: Ord. No. 178 - SECOND READING. <br />Council concurred to <br />of Fire Commissioners cHibnerei <br />andCorbettrd <br />and Fire Marsave haMal group <br />rshal Farwell further comp <br />the desirability of adoption. <br />WARRANTS: <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Grabowski <br />and carried unanimously that the warrants as presented in the amount of TEN <br />THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED SEVEN DOLLARS and Eighty-seven Cents ($10,907.87) be <br />approved and the City Clerk be authorized to draw the appropriate warrants. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />Mr. Stu Whittelsey presented a petition to the Council signed by 17 residents urging <br />the Council consider calling a special election to fill the vacancy which occurs wit, <br />the resignation of Councilman Aiken which will be effective on this date. <br />Council discussion ensued and it was noted that should the Council fail to appoint <br />a replacement within 30 days an election would be required.
