J. Kennedy Bartholet, Local Agency Formation Commission, requesting <br />report from the Town on spheres of influence with neighboring jurisdictions <br />prior to August 6, 1969. <br />10. Florence M. Fava, 26691 Moody Road, dated May 15, objecting to the <br />- <br />activities.of Mr. David Janssen in the vicinity of Moody Court and requesting <br />the Council declare the true status of Moody Court. <br />Mr. David Janssen, 27440 Sherlock Road, objected to the personal attack <br />included in the letter and Cpuncil instructed Staff to in the future not <br />read in their entirety letters which the Staff feels require disccssion. <br />Council concurred the Fava letter should be discussed later in the Agenda <br />under PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: /SJ <br />Assistant City Manager noted the following: <br />1) Special Meeting of ABAG General Assembly on Wednesday, June 11 at <br />Berkeley re Regional Home Rule. <br />Councilman Davey requested that the Regional Home Rule proposal be agended <br />for Council discussion and recommendation at the next meeting. Council <br />concurred. <br />2) A Retirement Dinner Party for Los Altos Fire Chief Richard E. Bassett <br />to be held June 6, 1969. <br />3) League of California Cities, Peninsula Division, will meet Thursday, <br />May 22 in Santa Clara. <br />4) Inter -City Council will meet Thursday, June 5 in Mountain View. <br />5) Announced resignation of Florence M. Fava, 26691 Moody Road, from the <br />Pathway Committee effective April 24, 1969. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1: �6 6 <br />CONSIDERATION OF REQUEST URGING COUNTY ENWTMENT OF COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT <br />REGULATIONS. <br />Staff report was presented noting the Mayor's Committee of the Inter -City <br />Council had approved a resolution urging the Board of Supervisors to immedi- <br />ately enact the remaining portions of the Draft of County Land Development <br />Regulations. Councilman Benson noted the County is trying to tighten its <br />requirements, as presently two acres of property can be sold and never go <br />though a planning board, and recommended approval. <br />Council concurred to consider this matter later in the Agenda under <br />RESOLUTIONS. <br />2 <br />
