UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 2: Ford Country Day School cont'd.: <br />to 5. Los Altos Fire Department requirement be satisfied by installation of a <br />4" fire hydrant on the 4" water main in the vicinity of the new bus port, <br />the hydrant to be installed on or before the completion of the bus port. <br />6. The old secondary residence near the swimming pool will be removed by <br />October 1, 1969. <br />7. For record clarity, a complete and up-to-date plot plan of all facilities <br />shall be submitted prior to issuance of building permits. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by <br />Benson and carried unanimously, that the request of the Ford Country Day <br />School (UP -321-69) for modification of existing use permit to allow rebuild- <br />ing of garage and relocation of tennis court be approved, subject to the <br />conditions recommended by the Planning Commission as noted in Item 1 through <br />7 above. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 3: '61ry <br />CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION AUTHORIZING CENSUS CERTIFICATION AGREEMENT. <br />City Manager noted the State Department of finance had completed a population <br />estimate for the Town and recommended a contract be entered into with the <br />State, and that a formal request of Certification of Population Estimate <br />be approved. City Manager noted the certification would cost $200.00 but <br />would yield a return in State Subventions of approximately $13.00 per <br />capita and that an increase in population of 300 last year was anticipated. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Fowle moved, seconded by Helgesson, <br />that the Census Agreement with the State Department of Finance be approved <br />and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute same, was carried by <br />the following roll call vote: Ayes: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, <br />Helgesson, Mayor Aiken. Noes: None. Absent: None. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 4: <br />DISCUSSION OF 911, NATIONWIDE EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER. 3 d 9 <br />Staff report was presented noting that calls would be directed to one central <br />answering point, then routed out to appropriate dispatching facilities for <br />emergencies under the 911 Program. City Manager stated the only cost to the <br />Town would be a line lease charge for telephone lines, but that this amount <br />was not definitely known at this time. <br />Council concurred that a presentation by County Communications should be <br />agended in the near future to explain the details of the 911 Program. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 5: STAFF REPORTS. 3 g3 <br />City Manager noted the following: <br />1. A drainage problem existing on a private road above Olive Tree Court <br />creates public and private drainage problems for Olive Tree Court and <br />suggested the Staff might coordinate alleviation of this drainage problem, <br />with the cost to be borne by the private property owners involved. <br />Council concurred that the Staff should meet with the affected private <br />4 property owners and provide technical assistance. <br />SS <br />
