CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />June 2, 1969 <br />REEL 17 - SIDE 1, TRACK 3 -- FOOTAGE 160 - 1204 <br />Mayor Wm. Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:54 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Mayor Aiken. <br />Absent: Councilmen Fowle, Helgesson. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner L. Dawson <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 5, 1969 <br />Staff reviewed the following amendments: <br />1. Page 1, Communications, Item No. 5, should include letter from Dr. and <br />Mrs. G. Solomon, 26871 Moody Road, dated May 4, in protest of proposed Sewer <br />Assessment District No. 6. <br />2. Page 2, second paragraph from the bottom, should include letter from Dr. <br />and Mrs. G. Solomon, 26871 Moody Road, dated May 4, expressing approval of the <br />abandonment of the subject portion of Central Drive. <br />3, Page 2, bottom paragraph, insert "with attachments" at the end of the <br />first sentence. <br />4. Page 5, second paragraph, should read "The following spoke in opposition <br />to the abandonment: Glen S. Taylor, 1229 Forest Avenue, Palo Alto, and David <br />Jansson, 27440 Sherlock Road. Additional general Floor comments were present- <br />ed by Mrs. D. Miller, 13076 Vista del Valle, Mrs. J. G. Ronsiek, 13023 Vista <br />del Valle, and Mrs. J. Steers, 11641 Buena Vista Drive." <br />5. Page 5, second paragraph from bottom, should read "representing the <br />majority of land acreage along Central Drive." <br />Councilman Benson moved, seconded by Davey and carried unanimously, that the <br />Minutes of May 51 1969 be approved as amended. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 19, 1969. <br />Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Benson and carried unanimously, that the <br />Minutes of May 19, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br />COtM4UNICATIONS: <br />Assistant City Manager read the following: <br />1) Austin D. Warburton, Chairman of the Delinquency Prevention Commission, <br />Juvenile Justice Commission, dated May 20, requesting evaluation of local <br />juvenile deliquency programs in a report to the Commission by June 30, 1969. <br />Council concurred the Mayor should advise the Commission of the Town's limited <br />ka programs and services for the prevention and control of juvenile delinquency. <br />
