CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />April 1, 1968 <br />REEL 9, SIDE 1, TRACK 1 -- FOOTAGE 00 - 1295 <br />Mayor Albert T. Henley called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:68 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, Fowle, Mayor <br />Henley. Absent: None. <br />PLARNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Chairman W. F. Minckley. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 18, 1968. <br />Upon Motion by Councilman Benson, Seconded by Fowle, the Minutes of <br />March 18, 1968 were unanimously approved as submitted. <br />i,PPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 22, 1968. <br />Upon Motion by Councilman Fowle, Seconded by Davey, the Minutes of <br />March 22, 1968 were approved as submitted by a majority voice vote, Councilmen <br />4W Aiken and Benson abstaining. <br />�a COMMUNICATIONS• 13` City Manager read the following communications: <br />1) Kenneth J. Dumas, M. D., 25446 Altamont Road, dated March 22, 1968, request- <br />ing that his property be included in Sewer Assessment District No. 2. Council <br />concurred that the Staff should advise Dr. Dumas of the formal procedures re- <br />quired to include his property in Sewer Assessment District No. 2. <br />2) 'Jilliz.-: J. Ruzicka, 26030 Newbridge Road, dated March 30, 1968, requesting <br />exclusion from Sewer Assessment District No. 3. City Manager noted this could <br />not be considered a formal protest since the Protest Hearing had been held <br />March 28, 1968. <br />3) Donald ,i. Spencer, 27490 Sherlock Road, dated March 27, 1968, weighing <br />certain fundamental factors concerning acquisition of land for open space and <br />recoe.¢aending that no further land acquisitions be considered until a poll of <br />the citizens has been made and long range priorities have been determined by <br />the Town. <br />Council concurred a long tange plan for land development should be reviewed <br />by the Planning Commission at its Study Session April 22nd, such review to be <br />considered in connection with the General Plan. <br />` 4) City wanager noted receipt of a suit against the Town filed by James J. <br />R <br />t, Garber, Jr. re: motorcycle accident on Viscaino Road on June 13, 1967. <br />Council concurred without objection to refer the matter to the insurance <br />carrier. <br />
