CITY COUNCIL TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING April 1, 1968 REEL 9, SIDE 1, TRACK 1 -- FOOTAGE 00 - 1295 Mayor Albert T. Henley called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:68 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members answering Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, Fowle, Mayor Henley. Absent: None. PLARNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Chairman W. F. Minckley. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 18, 1968. Upon Motion by Councilman Benson, Seconded by Fowle, the Minutes of March 18, 1968 were unanimously approved as submitted. i,PPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 22, 1968. Upon Motion by Councilman Fowle, Seconded by Davey, the Minutes of March 22, 1968 were approved as submitted by a majority voice vote, Councilmen 4W Aiken and Benson abstaining. �a COMMUNICATIONS• 13` City Manager read the following communications: 1) Kenneth J. Dumas, M. D., 25446 Altamont Road, dated March 22, 1968, request- ing that his property be included in Sewer Assessment District No. 2. Council concurred that the Staff should advise Dr. Dumas of the formal procedures re- quired to include his property in Sewer Assessment District No. 2. 2) 'Jilliz.-: J. Ruzicka, 26030 Newbridge Road, dated March 30, 1968, requesting exclusion from Sewer Assessment District No. 3. City Manager noted this could not be considered a formal protest since the Protest Hearing had been held March 28, 1968. 3) Donald ,i. Spencer, 27490 Sherlock Road, dated March 27, 1968, weighing certain fundamental factors concerning acquisition of land for open space and recoe.¢aending that no further land acquisitions be considered until a poll of the citizens has been made and long range priorities have been determined by the Town. Council concurred a long tange plan for land development should be reviewed by the Planning Commission at its Study Session April 22nd, such review to be considered in connection with the General Plan. ` 4) City wanager noted receipt of a suit against the Town filed by James J. R t, Garber, Jr. re: motorcycle accident on Viscaino Road on June 13, 1967. Council concurred without objection to refer the matter to the insurance carrier.
